All our scooters are fitted with a rear storage box.
- The hire price includes the scooter, helmet(s), vehicle insurance (third-party liability) and unlimited mileage.
- Fuel is not included.
To hire a Vespa, you must have:
- A Visa or Mastercard credit card; we do not accept (American Express)
- A driving licence (category B or higher)
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RENTAL
- The renter must be of legal age and hold a valid driving licence. If the licence was issued by a non-EU country, an International Driving Permit (IDP)
- The vehicle may only be driven by persons with adequate driving experience. If this requirement is not met, Siena by Vespa reserves the right to refuse the hire.
- The use of a helmet when riding the scooters (included in the price) is compulsory.
- Any breach of civil, criminal or road traffic law shall be the responsibility of the signatory to the hire contract.
- The vehicle must be returned on the agreed date and time; failure to return it or any delay will result in an additional day’s rental charge.
- The price does not include: fuel, parking fees, or any fines, which are the responsibility of the renter.
- The scooter is supplied with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. Returning the vehicle without a full tank of fuel will incur an additional charge of €30.
- A security deposit by credit card is required at the time of hire. The deposit will be refunded upon return of the vehicle, subject to verification of the Vespa’s condition and that the fuel tank is full.
- The vehicle must be returned in a clean condition; otherwise, a cleaning fee of €10 will be charged.
- The loss of the key or vehicle documents will incur a charge of €200.
Bookings and Cancellations:
The booking is only considered valid upon confirmation via email or WhatsApp.
Adverse weather conditions do not constitute grounds for cancelling the booking. In the event of bad weather, it will be possible to agree on an alternative date for the hire.
For cancellations, we would appreciate at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the agreed date; otherwise, one day’s hire charge will be applied.
